Valet vs Deep Clean: What's Actually Included

Valet and Deep Clean are the two services people mix up most when booking. Both cover the interior and exterior, but the level of work, and what problems each one actually solves, is quite different.

A Valet (£60 +, 2 hours) is a complete inside-and-out clean for a car that's generally in good shape but needs freshening up. Inside, that's a thorough hoover, all surfaces cleaned, glass polished and a scent finish. Outside, it's a full safe wash with wheels and tyres cleaned, paint dried and tyres dressed.

It's the right call for regular upkeep, a car that gets washed and valeted every couple of months and just needs to look sharp again, not restored.

We aim for perfection on every job, but a Valet is not designed to shift damage that is already set in. If your seats or interior are heavily stained, a Deep Clean is far better suited and will save you paying twice.

A Deep Clean (£120 +, 4 hours) is our flagship service, built for a car that's been neglected, is being prepped for sale, or just needs that "new car" feeling back. Interior work steps up to steam cleaning, shampooed seats and carpets, deeply cleaned door shuts, stripped carpets and a luxury scent finish. Exterior includes full decontamination of the wheels and paint alongside the safe wash and hydrophobic sealant.

It takes considerably longer because it's solving problems a Valet isn't designed to touch: embedded dirt in carpets, contamination on the paint, grime built up in door shuts over months or years. If it is only the inside that has suffered, interior car cleaning covers the same steam and extraction work on its own.

If your car has been valeted reasonably recently and just needs a refresh, book a Valet. If it's been a while (six months, a year, longer) or you're prepping it for sale or just bought it secondhand, a Deep Clean is worth the extra time and cost.

If you only need the outside doing, neither is right: a quick valet is an exterior safe wash in 60–90 minutes for £30 +.
