Swirl marks, holograms and that flat, lifeless look come from years of poor washing, not from worn-out paint. Machine polishing removes a fraction of clear coat to level those defects out and bring the depth and gloss back. We assess the paint first, agree how far to take the correction, and finish with a panel wipe so what you are looking at is the paint itself and not filler. Polish alone will not last forever in Scottish weather, so most customers lock the finish in with a sealant or ceramic coating on the same visit.
